CENTER SAFETY PROTOCOLS

What we are doing to ensure everyone's safety:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, before, after, and in between ALL sessions. We have always disinfected our center with products containing bleach, but we are now increasing the frequency and using products with a longer contact time to ensure effective disinfection. For this reason bathroom usage will be for emergencies ONLY!

  • Cleaning the air. We have invested in two air purification and filtration systems to remove gases and allergens, treating the air in the center to provide a healthier environment.

  • Checking temperatures upon entry. All students and staff will have their temperature checked prior to entering. We will log every student and staff who comes into the center each day and will require the use of hand sanitizer. ALL staff and students will be required to wear a mask. If temperature is 99 degrees or higher, students or gues will be sent home.

  • Practicing Social Distancing. We are limiting the number of students and staff who will be allowed into the center at any given time. We will ensure at least 6 feet distance for students to work at their desks. We will utilize desk partitions for additional safety. All siblings and family of the same household will be seated togetherScheduling Students. This is by far one of the most important elements to provide a safe environment. ALL students must be scheduled and adhere to their appointed times to prevent over crowding. Students will not be allowed to stay in the center after their time has ended. Not adhering to this policy will have your child removed from in center sessions. Slots are scheduled on the hour and half hour. 25-minute slots (and 55-minute slots for double subjects) are available. The 5 minutes in between sessions is to sanitize and disinfect!

  • No Congregation. The center lobby is closed and only used for packet exchange and to check-in students. Parents must stay in their cars or practice social distancing outside of the center.

What are we asking parents to do to ensure everyone's safety:

  • Please do not bring your child if you or anyone in your household is sick or has been exposed to an ill person.

  • Have your child use the bathroom prior to attending because our bathrooms are closed and off limits for students.

  • Masks must be worn in the center at all times. Ensure your child has a mask that fits and is comfortable.

  • Have your child bring their own pencils and erasers to use in the center.

  • Most importantly, adhere to your scheduled time slot.
